IrishSchoolBooks.ie is the latest expansion of Eason Cavan which is located in the heart of Cavan Town.

It is a family run business which was started back in 1959 by Sean Young who built it into one of the finest Card Shops, Stationers and Newsagents in Cavan and surrounding counties. Indeed, many locals still refer to it as Sean Youngs.

Upon retirement in 1998 the business was bought by a local couple, Pacelli and Marina Lynch. With their energy and foresight they have grown the business, increasing floor space to 6,000 sq ft. To compliment their substantial Back-to-School business, they extended their range to School Books in 2001, much to the delight of parents and teachers in the area.

In 2006 they joined the growing number of Eason Franchise stores. In particular this presented their customers with a greater range and value in books. There are always Special Offers and Superdeals in Books and Stationery!

It is 2010 and the world moves on. As Broadband becomes more widely available, people are becoming more familiar with and comfortable with shopping on-line. Our website is in its infancy and initially concentrates on School Books and School Book Lists, and with time we will incorporate more stationery and general books.
